For the past six months or so there has been a complete and absolute absence of tidal activity on the perpetually fair shores of St. Lucia. Then Saturday afternoon, they returned. Those wayward Neptunian travellers graced us with their passion. They brought back the swell. They delivered the waves.
Sunday was fantastic. We were improvident men, forgetting the previous season of drought, ignoring tomorrow, should it never come.
Today, we would have the greatest of their gift - 14ft overhead sets.
Today, as with every Wednesday, I am stuck at work.
What a friend you are, Neptune.
